The SCAO is seeking comment on proposed revisions to the Standards of Conduct for Mediators, originally adopted by the SCAO in 2001. The proposed revisions were drafted by a 25-member committee convened by the SCAO in light of the significant growth of mediation practice in the Michigan trial courts. All written comments received by February 29, 2012, will be considered. ■

The Michigan Poverty Law Project, as a contract vendor working with Michigan's Solutions on Self-Help Task Force, requests proposals for pilot legal Self-Help Center sites in Michigan. Courts, legal aid programs, bar associations, public libraries, law libraries, legal assistance centers, and others are invited to apply to serve as one of at least three local pilot self-help center sites. Applicants must be government, nonprofit, or other tax-exempt entitles. RFP responses should be e-mailed to Angela Tripp at trippa@lsscm.org by March 7, 2012. ■

FAQ 2012-01 provides direction to FOC staff who have cases with a DHS "good cause" determination not to continue with IV-D services, but have a support order with enforceable obligations. ■
