The Michigan Circuit Court Benchbook: Civil Proceedings was first published as part of a single volume benchbook addressing all circuit court proceedings. The civil proceedings section was completely revised in 2009 and published as a single benchbook devoted to discussing civil proceedings in circuit court. All updates issued since this benchbook's last publication date have been integrated into the content of the benchbook. It is current through January 1, 2012. The benchbook was originally authored by the Hon. J. Richardson Johnson.
