Controlled Substances Benchbook © 2007-2012
NOTE: This benchbook does not represent a wholesale revision of its content. The Controlled Substances Benchbook discusses in detail the drug offenses found in Michigan's Controlled Substances Act as well as offenses found elsewhere in Michigan law. Discussion of each offense includes applicable statutes and relevant case law. The benchbook also addresses issues that commonly arise at trials involving controlled substance offenses—search and seizure, civil forfeiture, evidence, double jeopardy, and sentencing, for example. We welcome your suggestions on how we might improve our efforts. We continue to troubleshoot the active hyperlinks included in the text. Please contact us should you encounter any difficulties. |
