Welcome to MJI's Campaign Ethics Training Page

There are several situations presented here, each of which present multiple dilemmas for judicial candidates. The exercises are designed to illustrate principles contained in the ethics rules governing political conduct of judges. The scenarios presented demonstrate situations in political campaigns. As in real political life, pressures to cooperate with allies, to defeat opponents, and to respond quickly to the unexpected will arise. Test how well you respond to each of these scenarios while complying with the Michigan Code of Judicial Conduct.
