Michigan Judicial Institute (MJI) is pleased to offer this site for learners who seek continuous improvement and strive for professional excellence. Providing leadership in continuing judicial and court personnel on-site educational seminars has been a mainstay of MJI's existence since 1977. Web-based instruction is a new venture.

The scenarios presented demonstrate situations which might arise as judges enter into political campaigns. As in real political life, pressures to cooperate with allies, to defeat opponents, and to respond quickly to the unexpected will arise. Judges can test how well they might respond to each of these scenarios while complying with the Michigan Code of Judicial Conduct.

There are 29 titles to choose from including "Conditions of Confinement in Juvenile Corrections and Detention Facilities" and "Effective Programs for Serious Chronic, and Juvenile Offenders".
