Learning Center volunteer with studentsVolunteer Opportunities | Volunteer brochure (1.1MG PDF)

The Michigan Supreme Court welcomes individuals who are willing to contribute their time and talents to assist in educating students and the public about the Michigan Judicial System.

Serving as a Learning Center volunteer provides rewarding opportunities. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to be trained as Learning Center tour guide or work behind the scenes and assist in clerical duties such as preparing and assembling educational materials for workshops, etc.

Volunteer work schedules are flexible within a normal Monday–Friday work week. All volunteers are asked to commit to as least eight hours of service each month. (Some positions have additional training and time commitments.)

Interested individuals must submit an Application of Interest and meet the eligibility guidelines of the Court. All applicants will be notified as to their eligibility. Those who qualify will be asked to come in for an interview.

Please note that new volunteers are required to attend an orientation session and must follow the policies and procedures outlined in the Volunteer Handbook.
