6/11/09 In 2009, the State Court Administrative Office will resume participating in the National Juvenile Court Data Archive. Annually, SCAO will extract juvenile court data from the Judicial Data Warehouse (JDW), strip the data of identifiers, and forward it to the national archive. This memo describes the history and purpose of the archive and the data elements that will be extracted from the JDW.

5/21/09 Grievance reports for the first half of 2009 must be completed and sent electronically to the Friend of the Court Bureau by July 15, 2009. 7/15/09
  MCL 552.524 requires a chief circuit judge to annually review the performance of the circuit's friend of the court. The completed review document, including any responses and a summary of any public comments, must be submitted to SCAO by August 3, 2009. 8/3/09

7/2/09 The note in Form DC 100c: Notice to Quit Termination of Tenancy, Landlord-Tenant, has been revised to reflect a change in federal law effective May 20, 2009 (sunsets December 31, 2012). The revision requires a new owner acquiring property through foreclosure to honor existing leases. The sole exception allows a new owner who will occupy the property as a primary residence to terminate a lease on 90 days notice.
