On April 14, 2010, Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly delivered her “State of the Judiciary” address to a joint session of the Michigan Legislature. This event marked the first time in 10 years that a chief justice of the Michigan Supreme Court has presented a State of the Judiciary address to the Legislature.
