Background
A short time after a robbery occurred, defendant Jonathan D. Hickman was arrested, handcuffed, and placed in the police cruiser. He was driven to the scene of the crime where the victim identified him. At trial, Hickman's counsel moved to suppress the identification. The Saginaw County Circuit Court denied the motion, and Hickman was convicted of armed robbery, conspiracy, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. The Court of Appeals affirmed the convictions in an unpublished per curiam opinion. Hickman appeals.
