6.7The Uniform Collaborative Law Act

The Uniform Collaborative Law Act, MCL 691.1331 et seq., “allow[s] parties to agree to a collaborative alternative dispute resolution process as an alternative to litigation [in family or domestic relations cases]; and to provide remedies.” See MCL 691.1333—MCL 691.1352 and MCR 3.222–MCR 3.223 for a complete discussion of collaborative alternative dispute resolution.
