Select Court Rules and Michigan Law
Court rules are procedures established by the Michigan Supreme Court for courts, friends of the court, and parties to follow. Court rules are different than laws. Laws are created and changed by the Michigan Legislature. Most of the court rules that impact the friends of the court can be found in Subchapter 3.200, Domestic Relations Actions, of the Michigan Court Rules.
