The Michigan Court of Claims to Begin Accepting E-Filings Through MiFile
The Michigan Court of Claims will begin accepting e-filings
through MiFILE on Monday, February 8, 2021. Once MiFILE is available, attorneys
must use the system to electronically file any documents intended for the Court
of Claims. See MCR 1.109(G)(3)(f). Where possible, self-represented parties are
encouraged to use MiFILE to electronically file their documents with the Court.

COA Oral Argument During the Pandemic
Until the Court returns to the traditional in-person arguments, the Court will continue to utilize Zoom for oral arguments on all cases where argument was preserved. Parties who are endorsed for argument will receive an invitation which includes a link to the Zoom session and instructions for participating. Recordings of all arguments are uploaded to the Court’s YouTube channel within 24 hours. Most Zoom oral argument sessions are not livestreamed. If you would like to view an argument live, contact the clerk’s office at least 24 hours prior to the argument date. The Court will continue to monitor events to determine when it is most appropriate to return to the courtrooms.
