​Office and Courtroom Locations

District I

Detroit     
Cadillac Place

Cadillac Place is located on the south side of West Grand Boulevard, one block west of Woodward Avenue. Note: The street address for Cadillac Place is 3044 West Grand Boulevard.

 

The Detroit Clerk's Office is located on the 14th floor of Cadillac Place (the former General Motors Building).  

 

The Courtrooms (A and B) are also on the 14th floor.

parking.pngPublic parking at daily and hourly rates is available at several locations within one block of Cadillac Place. Fisher Building public parking and the Victory parking lot are located at the corner of West Grand Boulevard and Third Avenue. New Center One public parking is located behind the St. Regis Hotel off of Lothrop. Additional parking is available off of Baltimore Avenue just west of Second Avenue.

The Troy office is located on the 8th floor of the Columbia Center.
 
parking.pngVisitor parking is available in the parking lot in front of Columbia Center or in the parking structure at the rear of the building. ​

The Grand Rapids Clerk's office is in the State Office Building, on floor "O." 

 

The Courtroom is on level "CT," which is the main level.

parking.pngFor limited parking, you can park at one of the meters on Ionia or in the metered parking lot across from the State Office Building. For extended periods, you may park at the Ellis Parking lot on Ionia or circle around the State Office Building and park at the underground parking ramp off Ottawa Street. There is a small sign near the entrance of the ramp that says "Government Center."

Lansing

The Hall of Justice in Lansing is located just east of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between Ottawa Street to the north and Allegan Street to the south. The building is on the opposite end of the mall from the Capitol Building.
 
The Clerk's Office and the Courtroom are both on the second floor.

parking.pngParking for people visiting the Hall of Justice is located on Allegan Street (across from the north side of the Michigan Library and Historical Center (MLHC), southeast of the Hall of Justice, and east of the Veteran's Memorial Park).
 
When leaving, visitors may make payment (the rate is $1.00/hour, with a daily maximum of $8.00) from their vehicles at the pay-in-lane machine as they exit the HOJ visitor lot or in person at the south entrance to the MLHC.
 
Handicap spaces are provided in the visitor lot. Handicap parking is also available in the East Deck of the Hall of Justice. ​
