Tours
Guided Tours: By reservation for groups of up to 48, including chaperones. Tours of the Learning Center last 60 minutes.
To include the Michigan Supreme Court courtroom in your tour, you must request this specifically when making a tour reservation. Additional time is required. Because of the Court’s schedule, courtroom visits cannot be guaranteed. Ask your reservation coordinator for details.

Self-Guided Tours: Individuals and groups of less than 10 on a walk-in basis. Preference will be given to scheduled groups. Call (517) 373-7171 to find out the best time to visit.

Buses: At the Michigan Historical Center bus parking lot, accessible from Kalamazoo St. Limited on-street bus parking is also available on Walnut St. near the Capitol.
Automobiles: At the visitor parking lot east of the Hall of Justice, accessible from Allegan St., or at the Michigan Historical Center. Cost is $1/hour.
Security
The Hall of Justice is a court building with security procedures. All adult visitors must present a government-issued photo ID and sign in to enter.
Visitors must pass through a metal detector and personal items are scanned. No guns, knives, or other items that may be construed as weapons are allowed.
Individuals or groups who disrupt tours or office functions will be asked to leave the building.
Photography
Photography is allowed in the Learning Center gallery and throughout the Hall of Justice.
Accessibility
The Hall of Justice and Learning Center are wheelchair accessible, and hearing accommodations are available.
